Tribe 1: INVEST

Return on Sustainability

Energy and waste management, green building certification, and carbon footprint are often considered the most important ESG criteria to investors. And although the time horizons of ESG outcomes and investment returns are not always aligned, the carbon mandate is clear. At IMPACT UK, the INVEST Tribe discuss the embedding of ESG best practices throughout real estate investment and asset management.

Tribe 2: BUILD

Refurb & Reposition

Refurbishment is increasingly seen as the single most viable solution to a more sustainable future. At IMPACT UK, the BUILD Tribe discuss the perceived added financial costs of undertaking a low-carbon refurbishment vs new build, the evidence of value creation, and the role of local authorities.

Tribe 3: OPERATE

Low Carbon Developments

From small efficiencies to onsite renewable energy generation and electric vehicle infrastructure, the design of Low Carbon Developments require a new level of operational planning and flexibility. At IMPACT UK, the OPERATE Tribe discuss the design and management of Low Carbon Developments.

Tribe 4: OCCUPY

Wellbeing & Social Value

The understanding of 'healthy buildings' now goes far beyond amenities. Occupiers are leveraging design and technology to maximize the efficiency and well-being of workplaces. At IMPACT UK, the OCCUPY Tribe analyse how to use data-driven insights to achieve healthy buildings that holds social value for employees.

Tribe 5: LEAD

Net Zero Strategy Evolution & Reporting

The majority of property companies have a Sustainability Strategy in place. And so now for the hard part; adoption, reporting and re-evaluation. At IMPACT UK, the LEAD Tribe discusses the leadership of Sustainability Strategy, particularly focusing on the real life challenges in execution and refinement.

Tribe 6: INVEST

ESG Tech Investment & Deployment

In ESG, PropTech has found its calling. From energy efficiency to ESG data collection and reporting, technology has a major role to play in sustainable real estate. At IMPACT UK, the INVEST Tribe discusses the deployment of ESG PropTech, focusing on the needs of their businesses and the pilots and projects in play.

Tribe 7: BUILD

Embodied Carbon & the Supply Chain

Given that concrete and steel account for over 50% of all industrial emissions, the property sector is shifting its focus towards the embodied carbon associated with construction materials. At IMPACT UK, the BUILD Tribe discuss the challenges in forecasting and monitoring whole life carbon.

Tribe 8: OPERATE

Decarbonised Asset Performance

Optimising asset efficiency and resilience can reduce operational costs and improve environmental performance. But the lack of standardisation of data and measurement can often make for a creative field of reporting. At IMAPCT UK, the OPERATE Tribe discuss the challenges and potential solutions of decarbonised asset management - on both an asset and portfolio level.

Tribe 9: OCCUPY

Occupier-Landlord ESG Collaboration

Occupiers and landlords need to work together. Landlords must reassess their understanding of occupier ESG requirements, and how to manage the implications of these requirements. At IMPACT UK, the OCCUPY Tribe sees occupiers lead a discussion on their needs in this new relationship paradigm.

Tribe 10: LEAD

Social Value Strategy & Measurement

Social Value Creation is paramount to purposeful businesses. Yet, it's arguably the hardest part of ESG to define and measure. At IMPACT UK, the LEAD Tribe discuss the emerging methods and tools to better create, measure and report on Social Value.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Be the Chair

The Chairing position is sacred.

The IMPACT UK Main Stage Chair position is available for a sponsor who can provide a leader worthy of the role!

The Chair introduces all sessions on the Main Stage, sets the tone and catches the mood.

Available for the Headline Sponsor.

Lead a Panel

There are three main stage panels at IMPACT UK.

You know the drill here. Each panel will have a Host (i.e. a moderator) and three panelists. The panelists are chosen for their progressive leadership.

The Host position is available for sponsors, vetted by our Co-Founders. This is prime-time positioning.

Host a Tribe

‘Tribes’ are what we call our interest groups. Each ‘Tribe’ has multiple ‘Discussion Groups’.

Each Discussion Group has a Host, who leads the conversation (a sponsor). And three Co-Hosts, who support the Host in keeping the conversation flowing.

We invite and confirm your Co-Hosts – your role is to lead the thinking.

Host a Dinner

At the end of the event, there will be three VIP Dinners. Want to commission one? Get in quickly!

We choose a meaningful theme together, you provide your client wishlist…and we do the rest.

Contact Rob

Get in touch with me to discuss how we can work together to curate a session for you to lead.

In collaboration with BWRE, we will help the property industry tackle its diversity problem.
