SPACE+ announce new UK event, focusing on sustainability, social impact and purpose-driven investing.

SPACE+, the global collective of progressive property leaders, has announced that they will be holding ‘IMPACT UK’ on the 13th September at FORA – Borough. Co-Hosts include Oxford Properties, abrdn, Brookfield Asset Management, GPE, Hines, Grosvenor, Blackstone and Coros.

Following the successes of SPACE UK, ALT/RESI UK and BWT UK, the new IMPACT UK event will bring together property leaders for an afternoon of discussions on sustainability, social impact and purpose-driven investing.

“ESG is now a priority, boardroom-level imperative,” noted Neall De Beer, Co-Founder of SPACE+. “IMPACT UK is designed for property leaders to discuss ESG meaningfully. Beyond creating a sustainability strategy, the event focuses on real world experiences and challenges in execution and integration.”

After an opening Main Stage panel on ‘Industry Collaboration’ hosted by Clifford Chance and featuring Basil Demeroutis (Fore Partnership), Alex Notay (PfP Capital) and Jessica Rentzos (Haleon), attendees will split into three ‘Tribes’ – INVEST, BUILD & OPERATE – for meaningful, interactive discussions and ideas sharing.

The ‘INVEST Tribe’ will focus on social value, the BUILD Tribe on refurb and alternative materials (embodied carbon), and the OPERATE Tribe on healthy buildings (operational carbon).

Taking place at FORA’s ‘show-stopping’ top floor event space, SPACE+ members and delegates will finish the event with networking drinks on the roof garden.

The 25 Discussion Co-Hosts include Neil Slater (abrdn), Robin Everall (Oxford Properties Group), Lily Lin (MARK), Jessica Rentzos (Haleon), Alexandra Notay (PfP Capital), Rob Allen-Mersh (Coros), Charlie Green (TOG), Janine Cole (GPE), Damien Sharkey (HUB), Lorna Walker (Modomo), Basil Demeroutis (FORE Partnership), Ami Kotecha (Amro Partners), Sam Monger (Grosvenor), Anna Shiel (Big Society Capital), Tom Rix (Hines, Hanna Afolabi (Mood & Space), Lora Brill (Orchard Street Asset Management), Luka Vukotic (Art-Invest), Tony Pullen (The Max Barney Estate), Caroline Hill (Blackstone) and Martin Gettings (Brookfield Asset Management)
