[London, 20th September, 2021] ,SPACE+, the leading platform for progressive and alternative property leaders, today announced a new programme of discussions, supported by ,Movember, to help property industry leaders create and execute strategy around men’s mental health.
The pandemic has created a new set of challenges related to mental health; including increased isolation and lack of confidence in working environments. In fact, recent Movember research found that 3 out of 5 (58 per cent) UK men reported experiencing poor wellbeing as a result of Covid-19 lockdowns.
‘I’m delighted to announce the launch of Head-SPACE; our new Tribe focusing on mental health, supported by Movember,’ said Rob Marten, Co-Founder of SPACE+.
The programme of discussions, dubbed ‘Head-SPACE‘, has the mission to enable the property industry leaders formulate and execute strategy around mental health – both in their own workplaces, and in the design of the places and spaces they own or operate.
“In these turbulent times, there are steps we can all take every day to look after ourselves and others – we look forward to supporting SPACE+ members in navigating conversations around mental health,” said Movember’s Director for Major Gifts, Rakesh Patel.
The first discussion will be a private event, followed by a talk and discussion at SPACE UK, and then at each SPACE+ micro-event for the next 12 months.
SPACE+ is seeking a corporate sponsor for this important initiative. Expressions of interest to [email protected]
